Anyone pregnant after Weight loss surgery?

I had gastric sleeve 6 months ago, I didnt see my surgeon yet.. I'm actually afraid to see him lol... because you know they tell you to wait 18 months... I'm 8 weeks pregnant

I had the lap band done 7 years ago. This is my third pregnancy. With both my boys I had to loosen the band cause I wasn't able to eat 3 months into the pregnancy. After my second son I had really bad postpartum depression and gained all the weight I had lost from the surgery. I have since lost another 20ish pounds. I'm now 10w3d and hoping I won't need to get an unfill since I'm not as tight as I was with my first two pregnancies. I have to pay $300 each adjustment and I really can't afford that every 4-6 weeks till I get back to my right tightness. I hoping after this baby to get back on track and get back to my pre-pregnancy weight before my first son!

I had gastric bypass 5 1/2 years ago, got pregnant with my son 4 months out from surgery, didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 25 weeks and 4 days. Had a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Pregnant with #2 now :)

First pregnancy and I had a lap band about 8 years ago. My surgeon advised that I would need to have it removed before getting pregnant. Well we got pregnant as soon as I tossed the birth control so I still have it. My OB simply advised for me to eat several small nutritious meals a day to ensure I'm getting proper nutrients to my baby. I'm 9 weeks and won't have my first ultrasound for another 11 days. Hoping all goes well!

Yes! This is my second pregnancy / baby after successful band surgery about 6 years ago. My last pregnancy the band was not an issue at all even though I thought it would be. Just need to be extra careful about making the most out of calories and getting enough protein.
