Do prenatal vitamins help you to conceive?

I have been trying for almost a year and half for baby #2 and am wondering if I should start taking prenatal vitamins and if it helps to increase my chances to conceive?

They may help you conceive if being deficient in a vitamin or mineral is throwing your hormones out of whack and hurting your chances of having a successful pregnancy. The main goal of a prenatal vitamin is to be sure that your body is stocked with all the vitamins and minerals it needs to carry a successful pregnancy and have a healthy baby. The folic acid in prenatals helps prevent the likelihood of birth defects of the baby's spinal cord that develops before you know you are pregnant. Take them! (The iron has helped my energy during my periods anyway, good stuff!)

Ok so your options are tricky. Prenatals wont help you conceive. But they do help to prepare your body for a baby.
