When to tell principal?

Hi! My husband and I just found out we are expecting and due in March/April. How early should I tell work so they can find a long-term sub? Thanks! Happy back-to-schooling! :)

I would say wait until you get through first trimester and make sure all is good. If you are making it public before then let them know. It really comes down to how close you are with your principal and what you are comfortable with. Let us know what you decide! Congratulations!!!

I told mine at 5 weeks. I was already peeing alot and starting to get morning sickness. I wanted to cover my ass so they wouldn't question why I was always leaving my classroom.

Wait the three months to make sure you're in the clear.... Then tell them they will understand why you waited.... All my friends at school waited until the second trimester

Congratulations! I would wait until after your first OB appt, but that's just my opinion. If I get my BFP this cycle, that's what I'll be doing, and I'll be due in late-April/early-May.
