How does entering my info help?

I get a notification every week or so saying that if I log more data, I will conceive faster. How is that possible? Im starting to not like this app because it never gives me true insights or helps me with whats a good sign or a good symptom that could mean pregnancy like other apps have. Ttc for about 1.5 years now, still nothing. I'm getting pretty discouraged and this PCOS is not helping much at all.
