I am 6 weeks and 2 days. First baby. When I came home yesterday afternoon with a small amount of blood on my underwear and light bleeding on the toilet paper when I used the restroom. Kaiser advice nursery recommended to just lay down and rest. Four hours later, things got a bit worse. I was bleeding like my period with cramps like my period, clots appearing. Went to the hospital and the MD said my ultra sound showed a spec in my uterus, which could be the baby. My hgc level was at 1700 and my cervix is closed but has slight bleeding coming from it. Now I have to take another hcg blood test in 48 hrs to see if it has gone up and wait til my ultra sound Tuesday to attempt to see the baby. They said I could have a threatening miscarriage but could not be sure because I am no early in pregnancy. Has this happened to any of you?
