Maternity leave, please help!!

I live in California and maternity leave is not mandatory to be a paid leave. Unfortunately I just found out that mine is unpaid where I work. But also, I have only been working here for 3 months!!!

So I don't even qualify for maternity (state) benefits. You have to be with he company for 1 year before your maternity leave, which I won't be able to qualify for.

Any one else go threw this? Or going threw this? What do I do?? I need to have an income when I'm off with the baby, and I also need to be able to take at least SOME time off after giving birth. What do I do??
