Is sex safe during 1st trimester?

I have had a miscarriage before so I am just really cautious. I was ovulating a week ago and we had sex on my most fertile days (took ovulation tests). It's obviously too early to find out if I'm pregnant or if my body is in the stage of becoming pregnany. Can me and my husband still have sex? I just don't want to disrupt my body or another miscarriage to happen.

Sex does not cause miscarriages. It's okay to have sex while you are pregnant unless your doctor suggests otherwise. Good luck and baby dust!

My S.O. And I have sex almost everyday, unless I'm not feeling good. I'm now 18 weeks. It has caused to trauma or anything. Just don't go crazy and be super rough.

You don't want his penis to push up on the cervix too hard, just what you would normally do is fine.

As long as it's a normal pregnancy w/out complications, sex is actually very good for you almost through the entire pregnancy as long as you feel in the mood go for it.

If you're not on bedrest/ have specific doctors orders otherwise it is usually safe throughout all of pregnancy. In fact, sex can help induce labor at the end if you're going over (well exercise in general does that, that's why in your last two weeks they recommend you walk several miles a day)

Usually it is, but sometimes your doctor may put you on restrictions once become pregnant like not having sex or limiting your positions.

Yes it is. Sex through the pregnancy is just fine. I have 2 kids already, and labor was started with both of them from having sex. A lot of Dr's will tell you to have sex or walk up hills or stairs when you're getting close to having the baby.
