Anyone worried about telling their children your expecting? I have 4 children, eldest is 21 and youngest is 13. They all have the same father. Me and their dad are no longer together. This baby is from my new partner.

Having a baby with new partner. How will my children from my previous marriage take the news?

My son is 21, when I told him he took very well.  He calls me from his school and checks up on me, like my husband does. This will be my second child and my husbands first.  Really excited.

Every situation and child is different. I was married for the first time 2.5 years ago. I had an 18 year old daughter and a 16 year old stepson. My daughter had 3 siblings from her fathers side and my stepson had 1. My daughter took it all really well, my stepson did not. Everything seemed fine though until our first baby was born and then he wouldn't hold or even look at her for three days. Thankfully, once he did hold her, he got over his issue pretty quick. He loves her so much. It's hard for them to comprehend much about what the pregnancy is and what it means I'm it's entirety until the baby is actually there for them to see. Seriously. Who can resist a sweet baby anyway? I'm sure it'll all work out, regardless. Enjoy the experience and try to include the children in the process as much as possible. 💖

In exactly the same as you ingrid, i was with my husband 19yrs and had 4 kids. Seperated 2yrs, in a new relationship & 6 weeks pregnant. My eldest is 20, youngest 8 xx

I was but they actually took it better than I thought. My oldest is 16 she lives with her dad... I was mostly worried about her reaction but she was happy.

I was the same way. My oldest is 20 and my youngest is 14. My oldest 3 are girls and my son is the youngest. The girls were fine with it and my son was not to happy. I had a tubal reversal after I met my husband. We have a 10 month old daughter and I'm due in January with a boy. My son is fine with it now but it took him awhile I think because he has been the baby of the family for so long.
