So, I was due on the 11th but have not had my baby. Which is ok with me. He's doing really well, and that's what's important to me. I went in to the doctor today and I'm still a very thin, 1cm. I've been having contractions for a couple days but nothing really worth noting. We talked about inducing but we have decided that it's in our best interest to wait. I have a heart condition that could be complicated if I were to need pitocin. So while I am miserable, hot, and tired, I will be waiting until 8/24 until I am induced. That will be 13 days past my due date, and at that point we aren't comfortable with the risk of not inducing. So hopefully he will make his grand entrance into the world on his own soon.
