Acne before your period...? HELP

My face always breaks out right before I start my period. It never fails. It does not do it any other time than right before. It's not what most people consider bad acne. But it's bad for me because I never get it. I was wondering if there was a secret to preventing or lessening the acne I get right before I start?

Wash your face, it's hormones so there's not much you can do

Make sure you are eating clean. Many water based and nutritious veggies and fruit. and iron filled meats, try and stay away from bread. Also it's good to find a good exfoliant, wash and toner. Most mild acne around your period are hormonal based. If it you well right before and during your period it will help. The good face wash and toner is to help the pesky ones that still pop up
