Announcing??

Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy and I'm so excited! I'm 5 weeks along. When is a good time to announce the good news to family?

Whenever is right for you :-) I told my family at 10.5 weeks because I couldn't hold it in, I was going to wait until 12 weeks haha. We still plan to announce to friends at 12 weeks, but it's super hard to keep the secret! Do what you are most comfortable with!

I told family and close friends right away. Everyone else after 12 weeks.

Told my family after the pregnancy test came back positive. Told friends slowly because I am super sick and it was hard to make up lies about how I was or what I've been doing, or why I couldn't come places. Then we told more people after our 12 week scan.

I found out I was pregnant really early (3 weeks) and I told my family straight away, didn't tell anybody else until the 12 week scan 😌

I told my in laws the night we found out and my parents the week after. I wanted to have my immediate family there for support for whatever happened, whether good or bad
