Anyone else have a bili-baby?

I feel so bad for my little lady. She has to get her foot poked every day to test her levels :-(  it's heart breaking.

Yep. The first 5 days he was poked everyday and while at the hospital every few hours for that and his glucose. Now my 4 week old has scarred up feet. He actually got up to the "dangerous" levels and scared the heck out of me since they started talking about admitting him. They just said to make sure to feed him lots and when he finally started having a good output in diapers it started to go down on the last chance day (they were giving me one more day to see if it went down and it thankfully did). Both the hospital and pediatrician never mentioned supplement for the bili only for his glucose, they wanted lots of breastmilk for the bili.

Yes! He was at a 5 when we left the hospital and in two days it went up to 15.6 now it's down to 14.8 after one day on the blanket. I'm so tired of it already. He doesn't enjoy it anymore than I do 😩

Yes I had a bili baby and it was sad she was piked 8 times I felt so bad but luckily she is now fine and off the flow light

I had that happen to my 2 week old! It's heartbreaking... But they finally told me to lay off breastfeeding for 2 days and to use formula, and his bili went down!!

Anyone else have a bili-baby?
