12 dpo-implantation spotting?

I wiped today and it had some pink blood on the tp. I figured af was a couple days early and put in a tampon (she's due Sunday). Got home 6 hours later and took it out and there was a little brown almost mucas looking stuff on the tampon and nothing else. Does this seem like the start of a period or pregnancy? Haven't had anything else when I wipe or otherwise since.
