A women celeb can walk around practically naked and yet if a normal person does she is nasty, sluty or classed as something apart from bombshell like how the media would??

Naah, any human waking around public is nasty, perverse, and idiotic. Women, there sacred, there bodies should be hidden, to leave wonder in another's mind, to leave them thinking of you and wanting you more. Those who show it like that are not at all attractive. Famous our not. If you're a lady and you sure your body like your a whore, I'm gonna call you a whore. It's what they look like. They can't get mad, they did it to themselves..

I think a part of it is that the performance world is distinct from real life. Take a look at the theatre, there are some nude characters but it's respected as a part of the art so treated differently. Again with burlesque. Over time though, celebrities have become a lot less disconnected so whilst they used to be seen as only artists - we now see their art and their personal lives thrown up for examination so a lot of them don't keep that distinction and keep their persona on whenever they're seen, including the performance outfits (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus etc.)

I agree that they get away with it a little more than your 'average Jane' because of their position as performers but they're still slut shamed, often on a larger scale, albeit less personal than for a normal person. If I were to walk down the street in a tassled bikini - people would stare, some might make comments and people I know would probably talk to me about it. If a celebrity does it - people stare, people make comments, people confront them and the paparazzi blow it out of proportion then the media picks up and slut shames her indefinitely.
