Weight in pregnancy second time around.
We are just starting to try for our second. Our first is 13 months old. I weaned him from breastfeeding 3 weeks ago and have only had 2 very irregular periods since he was born so I am expecting to need to wait until my cycle evens out.
But my main question, for those who have 2+ children how would you compare your pregnancies? I gained 45lb with my first and do not want to repeat that. I am still 5lb away from my pre-pregnancy weight and I am afraid that I will just put on a whole bunch of weight again. I exercise regularly and have a very physical lifestyle, but I just can't get rid of that last bit of weight. I know 5lb is not a big deal, I just feel like it's a slippery slope and I don't want to end up unhealthy and unhappy with myself.
