I am starting to plan my daughters baptism even though it's a year away. I live in nj but I'm thinking about having her baptism in Maryland, I have some family up there and it's beautiful. I was thinking about doing it at the Chesapeake bay. I have a big family but I'm not sure they will travel to Maryland, it's about 1 1/2 hours away. Am I stupid for wanting to go to another state for this? It's really pretty there and we were thinking it would be nice. Opinions please.
