Saving for college
I just saw a post where women were on their fifth, sixth, ninth (!!) child. Wow. My husband was married before and has 3, children making the child I'm carrying the 4th child we need to put through college. I would love to have another child, but I can't imagine putting 5 kids through just undergrad and retiring comfortably.
We are funding their little 529s for state tuition for all the kids and socking away 20% for retirement. Having another kid would make it much harder to do all this and have a good quality of life.
What's everyone else doing? Does anyone actually have a plan for getting 9 kids through school and being able to retire?
