Neither, they're both Ford's and I say that with all due respect. Every Ford myself, family or friends have ever owned have had NOTHING but problems. I don't know about the new Ford's, but I have a bad taste in my mouth since then so I personally would stay away. I have a Toyota and have for three years and it's been wonderful to me!

I second this!! I have a 2010 Toyota Matrix and I wouldn't trade it for the world!!!! It goes amazing in the snow, I camp a lot and it handles mud just as well. It's got tons of cargo room!! I have two 65 lb pit bulls and they can completely stretch out when I've got the back seats down!!

Honestly, I don't see a difference, only in color. BUT that being said I'm a truck person and could tell you a lot about them. Little cars just confuse the crap outta me.

I once had a 2013 Ford Focus in 2013...didn't like the feel of the engine when I would accelerate. Felt like the transmission was bad, took it in and they said it's their new engine model. If you like that acceleration feeling (jerking back when hitting the gas), then the focus is for you. I traded in my 2013 focus asap for my 2013 civic and don't regret it!!

You're right, earlier models may be fine. I bought the automatic and brand new (0miles), not the sport edition. Madison the dealership told me that it won't go away. First said to put some miles on it. 15k miles later and I traded it in. I didn't want to find out later. Hope yours stops shaking!

Sorry.. I guess I meant later models. The ones she's looking at may be fine.

I've heard it's with the focus (especially sport models) and didn't happen with the earlier models... I also heard its in the automatic. The manual should t have that problem.

Get a Chevy Malibu! They are the best cars ever! I had a 2003 that I loved. D when I decided to get a new car I got a new 2012 Chevy Malibu! Love it and both have been soooo dependable and great on gas mileage too!

Focus! I used to drive one and like it a lot. Also, it's cuter. ;)

We have a fiesta and it's great! The focus isn't much longer. It is a bit wider. I'd recommend the fiesta and save some money unless width is important to you. Most importantly, which one do you like driving?! :)
