Those are most likely Braxton hicks contractions. 

I had awful cramping a couple of weeks ago and when I called my midwife she recommended drinking something warm and taking gas-x. Sure enough, it worked! 

no joke I woke up crying last night my stomach was aching so bad!  I'm not sure what caused it she's been kicking all morning like usual, if you find out let me know - I'm calling my OB on Monday.
