So I have had very light pink spotting since I found out I was pregnant. I went to the doc and had hcg tested at about 4 weeks and results doubled every 48 hours. Yesterday I was at exactly 6 weeks pregnant but last night my light spotting turned into actual bleeding. Even though it was light red and definitely lighter than a period, I still panicked and went to the ER. They did an ultrasound which showed a heartbeat of 112-120. Also, my hcg was 9446. It had gone from 3707 to 9446 in 4 days. Even though this was a decent increase and I did get confirmation of a heartbeat, I am still so worried that the hcg didn't double every 48 hours. If it had, shouldn't it have been closer to 16,000 last night? Well the ER doc didn't seem worried about the rate of increase since we didn't check it exactly 48 hours apart. I have a small amount of bleeding still and boobs are not sore anymore so also worried about that. I know this is a long post, just hoping for someone to tell me what they think about all this! Going to my doc tomorrow to get hcg checked again and just resting until then while also trying not to panic.
