Need information on twins

Hello ladies I'm 5 weeks and 6 days, I went to the er for stomach cramps a couple days ago and they told me I'm pregnant also there are two sacs, one 7.7mm with normal fetal pole and activity and the other one is 2.6mm with no fetal pole or activity at the time does this mean I could be having twins or no I have no clue, they really didn't give me much information they just referred me to an obgyn and my appt isn't for another couple weeks

So has anyone ever went through this before just curious.
