I was diagnosed with gd early and started on insulin soon after due to high fasting numbers. Since first injection my dose has had to be gradully increased four times so far (23 weeks). My numbers are ok for a day or two but then start to creep up. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a limit to how many units I can use? (18 atm) how will my body cope as pregnancy progresses? What can i do to help? Too many questions?!
