Hmmm, I'm not sure that would be too healthy/a good idea to do when TTC. Admittedly I'm not religious anymore, but I used to be very much. I would fast for a week straight sometimes. I would at least drink some soup broth.

I've done fasts before with our church when we have major events coming up. So I thought about applying the same principle to TTC.

As a nurse, I would need to say that fasting while ttc would decrease your chances of actually conceiving. You shouldn't put any additional stress on your body. God hears your prayers.

I fasted for 3 days during my fertile window and it was difficult. I was faint with hunger. But I always prayed when I felt the hunger: Lord, more than I want to eat something now I want a baby...a healthy baby. But I won't you in my life most of all. I wanted to do a week, and I'll still do the rest later...but I keenly felt Gods presence and His peace.
