pack and play safe for sleeping?

Is it ok for baby to sleep in a pack and play in our room for the first few months? We don't have a bassinet but the pack and play we got has the infant napper attachment. Is this safe do you think or should I invest in a bassinet?

My son slept on a pack and play on the bassinet part as soon as he came home for a few months that's where he slept .. And he's fine

Yes I did it w my first two for the first 4 months and Oman on using it again. As long as sheets are the correct size and you don't have a bunch of blankets in there your fine

My LO will sleep in a rock n play beside our bed. At target they are only about $80. They play music, vibrate and rock so help the baby sleep. It's also inclined so it's better in case they spit up in their sleep.

Yes. But also no, it carries flame retardants and other major chemicals BPA, etc.... that your child will enhale for hours a day.

I'm upgrading to a non toxic one called lotus. Also baby bijourn is also non toxic.
