Gestational hypertension...
My blood pressure has been high for the last week or two, so I had a stress test today & it went well! Baby is healthy and OK! My blood pressure was still elevated but I am still in the gestational hypertension range & not preeclampsia; also, no proteins in my urine so there's no safety issue, thank goodness!
After the test I met with my doctor who thinks the best idea would be to induce me at 37 weeks since baby will be full term then. I will be 36w this Wednesda... Eek!
I'll have another stress test next Monday with an ultrasound and we will schedule the induction then. Which means, most likely we anticipate baby will be joining us between 8/26 & 8/30, based on hospital availability. I cannot believe the end is near, I thought I had more time! And I am to on modified bedrest until then... I've never been so scared & excited!
