Itching?! Normal..? And staples?

I had my second c section last Friday. Everything went just like last time pretty normal but this this my belly itches like crazy!!! Is this normal. It's still very hard and sllowen also. Also how long did everyone have to leave their staples in?

I didn't have staples with mine but my belly was hard. I had a bunch of fluid that was infected behind the incision. Please call your dr, especially if there's any foul smelling drainage or if you have a fever.

I had my staples in for one week. Once they were out, so much relief!

I only had staples for 4 days. I only remember itching when it got infected.

I had my staples in for exactly one week. As for the itching, I had tiny little bumps all over my belly a few days after that itched like crazy. Nurse gave me Zyrtec to take and said I was probably allergic to the cleaning solution they wiped me with before surgery. It cleared up quick. I have my second c section tomorrow and they will not be using the same solution this time so hopefully I won't have any itching!
