New sibling gift??

Anyone do something special for your older child? 
I have a 4.5 yr old and she is very excited about becoming a big sister. I really want to do something special for her, like a gift when baby arrives. Any ideas????

Our son is 8 & a half so we are getting him a new PS3 game we know he's been wanting for a while and my MIL is planning to buy him a bunch of tous he can play with at the hospital aswell as at home.

We know it's going to be hard being that baby will arrive the very start of school holidays and as an only child for 8 years, it will be a really big adjustment for him. For the last 4 years he's had 3 parents attention all to himself but we are hoping that having his dad all to himself still will help a bit. He is definately a mummys boy though so just hoping for the best.

Our daughter will be two this December and her brothers dues in 3 weeks, we getting her small things crayons, coloring books, stickers, and a new baby doll. Just a few of her favorite things an maybe a lollipop or two. Trying to keep it simple seeing how she really won't understand the concept of it.

We got my daughter a TV for her room.  This way she can hide away when she wants to since she is 11.  We still plan on a DVD player to go with it.  Yea, spoiled, I know.  Lol.

Well my 4 year old daughter (she will be almost 5 when baby brother arrives) is really excited about becoming a big sis, so to make her feel really special that day I want to prepare a bag or a box with exciting things such as;
A kid camera....$35 Vtech (although they have some others staring a $12 on Amazon)
A photo frame so we can print a picture of her choice later...($ 10)
And then some other small toys and coloring things from Target ($1 to $3 each) to keep her busy and excited when she comes to visit us to the hospital! I also saw more cool things, but I don't want to go too crazy! Another awesome thing would be to let her pick sth for the baby! We'll see...good luck!! 😃👍🏻💕

Our daughter is also 4.5 & very excited! I got a bag from the $1 store & got a few things she an paint & color there, I also filled it with things from the $1 section at target. Things to pass the time while she waits to meet her brother at her grandparents & things to keep busy while she's away. We also got her an outfit to wear to the hospital to meet him in. She has been asking for inside out (the movie) characters so I picked 2 to give her from her brother. & we will have a "party" at the hospital. I'll just have my hubby grab some cupcakes to bring along. :)

I let her pick out a $5 gift for her baby brother, then my husband and I picked out a $5 gift for her from her baby brother. Peace and goodwill to all mankind. :) Lol... My children will be a little over 3 years apart in age.

We went to target and got a bunch of little things at the dollar spot. She always wants everything she sees there so I think she'll be excited. And she has a big variety- including things she can eat/do at the hospital while visiting 😊
