Would you bring your own gown & pillowcase?

Question

This is with the assumption that your hospital does allow you to do so, and also this is to wear AFTER you had already delivered. (Since I know hospitals require you to wear theirs to deliver)

I wore a hospital gown during delivery but after delivery I cleaned up And was fully clothed the rest of my stay in the hospital and so wasn't my baby. I wore the throw away underwear and kept asking for more while I was there so I could bring them home and wash them. Postpartum sucks and I didn't want to ruin all my underwear!

My hospital does not require me to wear their gown for delivery I will be wearing a homemade one of my choice:)

Well, I said yes but eh. More like no. I didn't last time. I just used everything the hospital had. It was easier to put a gown from the hospital on backwards to feed.

I will bring a few of my own clothes for after delivery but no pillows or pillowcases. My lil one will be in the NICU when she is born and that is on a different floor than where I will be staying. I will not be travling in thin, show everything hospital gowns across the hospital.

I wore my own gown both times, but I didn't care about the pillowcase. They were just fine with me wearing my own gown, but multiple people reminded me that it would get dirty, to which I replied it was a one time use item. I felt more comfortable, and adorable. I also wore my own slippers instead of those horrid non slip socks.

I'm thinking of bringing my own sheets this time. The ones last time made my skin so itchy. Bring lotion! Def bringing my own blanket.

I have allergies to some pillow fillers so I always bring my own. I am also bringing my own Jammie's (loose pants and a tank) for after delivery Since I am sure there will be a lot of photos taken and I would like to not be in an unflattering gown the whole time

I took a nursing tank and house coat. Never used the house coat because I was able to get a nursing gown from the hospital. It was soft and much more comfortable than a regular hospital gown.

I wore the hospital gown cuz why even bother, they're designed for the hospital use incase something happens and I'll be wearing one again this time. Only thing is the hospital requests I bring my own pillow in a distinct pillow case, I think it's for comfort and hygiene purposes.
