Is labor in my near future??

At about four this morning some of my mucus plug came out... While at work today I had about three of four contractions any where from one to two hours apart, came home and more of the mucusy stuff came out, I still have 23 days till my due date, any thoughts or suggestions?

My doctor told me the mucus plug doesn't mean anything. If your contractions went away they were most likely Braxton Hicks, true contractions do not go away. I would let your doctor know what happened but they will most likely not be worried about it.

I lost mine at around 33 weeks and now I'm 36 weeks.  Doesn't mean labor, but I didn't lose mine with my last pregnancy and had to be induced so I'm hoping it's a sign that I may not go overdue.
