Juniors department or womens??

Hey ladies! I am 24 and recently every time I go to the mall I come out with nothing. I feel I'm too old for clothing stores targeted at juniors and too young for womens/misses sections. Does anyone else have this problem?? When did you stop shopping at the juniors department?

I'm 28, will be 29 in November and I still shop in the Juniors section sometimes. Part of my problem is that I'm short (5'5), so women's dresses and pants are sometimes too long for me. However, I do shop in adult stores (belk, kohls, JC Penney, etc) and only buy junior clothing that is appropriate for someone my age. In other words, no shirts with logos or phrases on them, no risqué dresses or shorts, etc. You would never know I get the majority of my clothing in the junior section.

I shop at both sections I tend to like the jeans more in the junior section but for tops I just tried to find the most modest thing in the junior section and the most edgy thing in the women's section.

I'm 21 and feel very much the same, I'm very modest and like everything to be covered. I hate going shopping because I come or feeling so shit because I didn't buy anything. I'm very tall and and skinny so I find it really hard to find pants especially jeans that fit nicely because a size 10 fits nicely in the waist but too short in the legs and a 12 is only just long enough in the legs but swims on me in the waist.

I like stores like Loft and Gap, I find they have a good "in between" option. I'm 27 now but until recently also would stop in Express and H&M for more going-out stuff.

Almost 31 and I shop between both sections. I am also a stay at home mom, so I don't need to dress formal.

I have also felt the way you do since  around your age. I am now 30. I do a lot of online shopping and sometimes it's  in the junior dept, sometimes it's in the women's.  I just try to stay away from too blingy of jeans,  shirts that say cutesy sayings, and cropped  tops.  I am slender, but I'm  a mom and feel  the need to dress like one. So sad, I still think items in the junior dept are so cute,  but I try to aim for the more classy /sophisticated look.
