People who pass as white

I keep seeing posts about racial issues and wanted to bring up a discussion about something that doesn't get talked about often. People who are other races but pass as white and their experiences. I am mixed Caucasian and Native American but I pass as white. I have found because I look white, people tell me I'm white and it annoys me. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you feel that often times people think white to be superior?
