Evening primrose Oil too strong?

Hey ladies, I went to the store and bout EPO 1000mg. I am 35weeks. Took one dose in the night and next day I was cramping and seems like I was loosing little
Pieces of my mucous plug. Could it be that the dose is too strong. I did this for two nights and stopped because the pain was getting strong. Should I keep on trying or wait until I am about 37-38weeks?

wait til you are about 38 5days or 39 weeks .. kinda unsafe during 35 weeks ..

You can lose your mucus plus weeks before and it can grow back. No big deal just means cervix is softening. It takes a lot of contractions to get from 0 to 10. Getting a couple centimeters outta the way now might help you with a shorter first faze of labor later.

I'd wait til at least 40 weeks. What's the rush?
I'll start my doses at 40 weeks. Third baby. Been a week late with both and I don't want to chance a hospital birth as I'm doing a water birth at a center this time. I can only go to 42 weeks

I put a 1000 mg in vaginally last night and nothing. No cramps no plug. I'm 37 weeks and 1 day , my doctor gave me the okay to try home induction methods. I'm thinking about sex tonight and then 2 pills the next day. And so on. I'm also eating and drinking pineapples. Walking/ dancing. Nothing is working yet. 😒

I'd wait until closer to 38weeks. Seems like you react well to it!
