Is it possible to always be ovulating?

My fertility tests always say positive. I thought they were defective but I had a friend who was definitely not ovulating take one and it was negative for her. I went to the hospital yesterday for something unrelated and the nurse initially said that it was impossible for me to get a positive ovulation test everyday from the last day of my period through the following week and a half. But I did. Then she asked if I had PCOS and when I said yes she said women with PCOS sometimes ovulate all the time, through their cycle and everything. Have you guys heard that?

Is it just this time they came up positive every day? Maybe take a pregnancy test if this is the first time this is happening.

With pcos comes hormonal imbalances which means some women can't use opks because they are not accurate. You're not ovulating all month. Some people with pcos have a elevated level of the hormone that the ovulation test is looking for, so they test positive even when you are not ovulating. Every person's hormones are different, so you won't have a definite answer in till you have lab work done for pcos.

Im guessing she meant women with pcos could ovulate at any time in in their cycle. I dont think she meant they are always ovulating. That would be why women with pcos have irregular periods. They are not ovulating at the same time each month. I have heard ovulation tests dont necessarily work for people with pcos.
