Scared, and nervous....

When I went in for my 22 week ultrasound we found out the gender and it's a boy. The doctor told us that they found extra skin on the back of his neck and it might be due to him having down syndrome, we did blood work. Expecting to find out Monday but my fiancé is going crazy with not knowing which is making me really nervous. Can having extra skin on the back of the neck be something else?
