Help please?

Has anybody ever taken Medroxyprogestrone  10mg? Or how about first-medroxyprogesterone?

I was given a 10 day supply and my dr told me i should start my period anywhere from 1-2 weeks after I finish taking it. Well, after the 1st 2 days, period was here in full swing, cramps and all. So, it definitely worked for me.

My dr just put me on it. I have to take it for 7 days and then get a period, since my periods completely stopped around April. Took it like I was told, got incredibly sick and moody (like PMS times 1000) 2 days later I had a very heavy period that lasted 36 hours. 4 of those hours were spent changing my super plus tampons out every 10 to 20 minutes. Almost went to the ER but it calmed down. Supposed to do another round starting on Wednesday, but I'm going back to the dr on Wednesday (the 16th) to talk to him about it

Never used it but I've heard alot of bad about it...one was that it caused cancer. I don't know if any of its true. I've been using natural progesterone cream that I bought from amazon. Works good for me.
