How to help sciatic nerve pain?

I have crippling pain to where I can't walk on my left side and my sciatic nerve strikes pain when I move. I'm only 25 weeks and don't want to keep having this till my baby girl arrives. 
Has anyone else had this!? And what did you do to help it go away as fast as possible?

In addition to the suggestions already made, a chiropractor can help a lot with sciatica pain! I was having that during my first trimester and I had mine fix me up. So much better now. And it's safe for baby! :)

I started getting sciatic nerve pain after my first csection 6 years ago and I still deal with it every once in awhile. Sometimes nothing helped 😥 and I just had to deal with it. Try .. Light stretching, cold/warm packs, warm bath, massaging the area where it hurts, and find a comfortable position to sleep in. I'd try to lay down where it stretched my back out if that makes sense. I'd rest more often when it flared up because standing and walking really hurt.

Was just going to post a thread!  Mine just started yesterday 😖 must be a common time for it to occur - I've had no problems until now.  Guess I'll try to find a chiropractor.

I get a lot of clients who come in for prenatal massage because of sciatic pain! (I'm a massage therapist), what I tell them (and what I'm doing for it) is to do a morning stretching routine if you can. If you do a lot of sitting at work or throughout the day, get those legs moving. Also, using a yoga roller can really help loosen up the hip flexor muscles to give some relief. If all else fails, ice your Lower back (sacrum and hips).

Mine was really bad for about 3 weeks. I took it easy for a week and then gradually got back into my routine again. Crazy enough I found holding onto a counter and squatting slowly helped stretch and doing leg swings to the side also helped. Try to keep moving. Hopefully it calms down. I also got a belly support brace from babies r us.

I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and the same thing started with me yesterday! I can't walk around without help because my leg/butt muscle is about to give out. I looked up "sciatic butt pain stretches" 😆and found some that helped for a little but it did come right back sadly
