I just need to vent for a moment.. I babysat a 4 yearold today. He was AWFUL. He literally would climb on top of everything and jump off, he took my hair and pulled it and would not let go, he spit on me, and if I said "NO" with a stern voice he would laugh and continue. He even slapped me and kicked me in the stomach over and over. I don't believe in spanking other people's children, BUT if my daughter acted like this you better believe I would spank her. With this being said, considering he wouldn't listen to a word I said, no matter if I asked in a sweet way or a mean way, how would you punish your children if you didn't spank them? This was uncontrollable. And there's no way just a time out would work for him. His mom spanked him when she got home, but I wouldn't do that to someone else's child.
