I just went in for my 22wk+2day ultrasound and i was told the abdomen, legs and arm bone length looked good, my child's brain is developing, placenta bpm looks good and my genetics testing came back with no abnormality. However, my baby's head is between the 7-9 percentile. The dr. Says this could be nothing or could be down syndrome or a brain development concern. I'm being tested for infection in the uterus but from what i understand they can't do anything even if tested positive. I don't know whether to be worried or not. My previous 18 wk ultrasound was fine for everything, but the percentile has gone down on this ultrasound and again, the head size is what the dr. Is going for more.testing on. I'm worried, stressed and concerned on what possible brain development issues my baby could have or if any at all.
