Tampon leakage?

I was wearing kotex active scented tampons and i had it in for maybe 30 min and the sting was soaked in blood and my liner was too, but the tampon itself wasn't ... Any recommendations for a good tampon or advice?? I just started wearing them

What other hole could she possibly fit a tampon in?

Sometimes, when this happens to me, it has been from having a clot that was on the privious tampon but when pulled out was left behind. When the new tampon goes in, it can bypass it if it is on the edge, so the string and pad would have blood but the tampon may not.
