Confusion??

Hi! I'm Alex, 13, and I normally have a regular period, but I'm seventeen days late, am not sexually active, have been seeing white discharge for the past few years and I'm not sure what to do. I'm too young to go to my local gynecologist. Any advice?

This has happened to me before and I'm 20. Usually I just ignored it, since I wasn't sexually active either. It could be an imbalance in your hormones. If you're really worried, just go to your regular doctor and see if they can help.

You are not too young to see a gyno, especially if you are having problems that relate to your reproductive organs

I won't worry. Your still young and your period maybe all over the place sometime. Just keep a pad/tampon with you. Also if your stress it can throw off your cycle.

I started my period at 14 and I am 20 now and still not regular! Just keep your stress down and it should become regular in time.

It could be numerous things from stress to your body changing.  Discharge is normal-and annoying.  I would talk with your mom or guardian and let them know your concerns.
