TTC- New to all

I'm new to this app and still gettinh used to it all, but my SO and myself have been together almost 7 years, but have been trying to conceive over a year. Before i met him i was on the depo shot for 4-5 years. I did go in and have in ultrasound and was told everything looked fine. Is it possible that being on the shot messed up something? We are a heavier couple, so maybe that could be a reason... please help. Any suggestions
