NITROFURANTOIN Safe or not???!!

I was prescribed Nitrofurantoin for a uti . Has anyone else taken it ?? Was your baby ok? 😕 I'm  currently 28 weeks 5 days

It is a category B drug. It is safe for you and baby. You need to take it, all of it. To get rid of your infection. It is not good for you or your baby for you to have an infection and not treat it

It is contraindicated/used with caution during weeks 38-42 and during labor and delivery. You are only 28 weeks
