Honestly the highway is probably safer where I live. Yes it's driving faster but you also don't have to worry about people blowing stop signs, pedestrians jaywalking, people pulling out of driveways or parking spots without looking, etc.

I avoid the highway as much as possible. It gives me severe anxiety.

I live in Atlanta. It is impossible to get anywhere without using the freeway.

Any accident I have seen have been on local roads of people being rear ended because they didn't see someone stopped at a light, a pedestrian hit in a crosswalk, running a stop sign, etc. I feel safer on the highway to be honest.

I live in a pretty big city, so unless I'm going around the corner to the depanneur or grocery shopping I pretty much have to take the highway. It doesn't bother me. Although I don't have a baby yet. However I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with it.

No more dangerous than any other street in my opinion. Plus there's no avoiding them where I am.

I live in a suburban area. It's pretty impossible to get most places in decent time without using it from where we live. I don't have an issue with it. There are some parts of the country that I wouldn't be as confident about taking it though

My daughter has to see specialists in our capital and the only way to get there is the interstate. As for a regular 60mph highway, I have no issue with it!
