Have you hired a maid?

I'm 34 weeks, nesting hasn't kicked in & probably won't kick in since I'm more tired than ever lol. My daughters gifts is still in her gift bags (from the baby shower) and my dirty laundry is stacked up, and the entire room is just filthy. Thinking of hiring a housekeeper to help clean my room and organize our stuff but not sure if it's worth it. Any of your ladies ever used the house keeping services?

I haven't hired anyone but I would have if I didn't have any help. My mom helps with cleaning and laundry and my mother in law (who lives next door) makes all our meals. Im 38 weeks. Honestly I try buy its so hard just to shower!! I would say go for it! Hire one of those cleaning service companies that come and do a full cleaning once a week. You will never have a better excuse to do so lol..

I'm 36 weeks and the doctor said he can come as early as next week. I have no desire to clean when I get home from work and my husband gets home even later than me. My mom and my friend are coming over tomorrow to deep clean my house before baby arrives.

I think a cleaner and an organizer are two different things (around here anyway). A house keeper is amazing. We have one come once a month and I love it! You could also see about hiring a "mother's helper" like a high schooler/college student/neighbor to help you get organized. If you can afford it, this is a great time to make life easier!
