Do what the hell YOU feel is right for YOUR child. Listen to the pediatrician and take your own educated guesses. Every baby is different. I introduced my son to a little in his bottles at 4 months or so because he had terrible acid reflux, and low and behold IT HELPED! And you know what else? He's a healthy, happy, growing, almost 4 year old. He's nowhere near "obese" like some of these Internet moms will tell you. You are your child's mother, no one else. You'll always know the best for your child. ❤️

Definitely not before 6 months. World health organisations says nothing but breastmilk or formula until 6 months.

You shouldn't be giving anything but milk before 4months & it's not needed until 6months. Who on earth is giving a one month old solids!!

5months 2 weeks, SPOON fed. He seemed to always be hungry and that boy loved it. I did oatmeal no cereal. I will never understand anything before 5 months. They don't need it they don't know how to swallow it. I know several people start it at 6 weeks so they can sleep more

It depends when your baby seems ready, but 5+ months is recommended by most pediatricians. My child was staring at me as I ate and reaching for my food. She was ready at 5 months! Never had any issues because we started it very thin with breast milk.
