I think that sex is a huge part of relationships and you need to find out early on if ur compatible in that sense so maybe not the first date but definitely the first few weeks, I read somewhere that the average first sex for couples is two weeks in :)

The value that people place on sex typically attracts similar thinking people.

If Person A thinks it's something that should be reserved for being in love then hopefully they should find someone who agrees or at least respects that. If Person B thinks it's a fun way to get to know someone better and their partner agrees then there's no harm as long as everything is safe and consensual.
