I have sensitive skin so we use a dye and perfume free detergent. I'm planning on using that for baby

I would maybe try something else. Tide causes a lot of rashes on adults so I'd hate to risk it on little baby.

I just used our regular detergent and never had issues with my son. I'm using  regular detergent with this baby, too, unless she gets irritated by it.

You could but I would get something with no dyes or fragrances. Babies have sensitive skin.

It's not recommended bc of the dyes and perfumes, same with Clorox or fabric softener bc they can irritate the baby's new skin. Personally, I use Dreft for the first 8-12mo and then switch over.
