Should I STAY or GO?

Well ladies I have been with this guy for two years , and now I'm to the point where I'm ready to go because he won't make our relationship official yet, but we do all the relationship things such as go on dates, spend time with each other, text and talk all day long, and I've even met his mother and have spent time with her on numerous occasions. She even thinks we're together BUT HE WONT COMMIT! He says that he's been in two long relationships with previous women and it didn't work out so now he's taking his time because he's looking for marriage out of relationship. Honestly I think that's bull but I love him, so I've stayed. I want to be with him, but I know my worth! I feel like he's unappreciating that... So PLEASE LADIES TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO?

If he cannot commit after 2 years you should talk to him and tell him it's either he commits or you leave. In the 2 years I'm sure he knows you well enough to know if he wants a life with you or not. You need to let him know how you feel.

If a man can't call you his girlfriend after two months - I won't even comment on two years - of consistent dating then something is wrong... With HIM. First thing being he isn't a real man, real men don't string women along because real men have more respect and compassion than that. This immature little boy behavior. Little boys want to have their cake and eat it too. I know exactly how you're feeling but I'm betting if you run for the hills now you'll look back in six months and realize you dodged a bullet. Get out now and you'll be one step closer to finding a real man who makes you feel lucky and appreciated, not neglected. I did and god knows I ain't perfect. As my mom always, there's tons of turkeys out there, don't settle until you find a rooster!

It sounds like your man has been hurt pretty bad in the past and is insecure. I used to have the same problem, thinking that making things official would cause me to lose them again. He clearly loves you, because he's explained why he doesn't want to do it. 
What helped me was for the guy to understand where I was coming from, not rush me, and to slowly encourage me to take small steps into making things official. Sure, that relationship ended but it was on my terms and not his.

Maybe try and sit down and talk to him. Say that you understand what's going on and that he's insecure. Tell him that you're not gonna do to him what his previous relationship did. He mostly needs to know that you understand and that you're there for him, for whatever he needs. Don't push him into making things official, but don't give up either. Do things that 'official' relationships do, and very slowly nudge him into it.

As a side note, any time I've had a guy not want to make it official, it's been because he wanted to appear single in case a better option presented itself. Can't say that's what's for sure going on but it's the first thing I thought of.

I think he's afraid. That's okay, we are all afraid of something. It sounds like his fear is rejection. Reading of the things you do together i.e going out together, talking all day etc sounds to me like he cares and isn't hiding anything. Talk to him and if you love him and think he is the one, you will wait

It's been two years and he hadn't committed to you? Sounds like he is just staying with you until he finds someone he thinks is "marriage material." Leave. And do it soon. Sorry girl :( you know you're worth and you need to find someone that knows it, too! You want someone to know what they have when they have you, not after you leave.

I think a month would be a long time, especially if you were seeing each other frequently. There are guys out there that will commit to a person they want to be with, find that guy
