Blood pressure?

I went for my prenatal visit today I thought I was 8 weeks turns out I'm 6 weeks 3 days lol but anyway my blood pressure was 120/100 does any one know if that's a normal blood pressure ?? If it's high what causes it and what can I do about it ?

That's actually not too bad. The bottom number is a little high. Normal is 120/80. If your doctor didn't say anything, I wouldn't worry. My bp at my first appt was 180/120 and I'm having a perfectly healthy pregnancy

My dr says the diastolic number is the one you need to worry more about, and being 100 would be cause for concern, for my dr anyway. If yours didn't show any worry then you're probably fine. If you're curious about it ask you dr on your next visit or call the nurse! good luck

That's good. Mine was 118/71 today. Everyone is different, some people run on the lower side of normal. Ideal is 120/80. But a little below that or a little above isn't bad. 140/90 or above is when they start to get concerned, that is considered high blood pressure
