I'm on the placebo pill week right now so I should start my period soon. As soon as my period starts, is it okay to start taking the active pills again? This way I wouldn't go through my whole period?

Beginning the active pills again when you start your period won't shorten it since your body is on a pre-determined cycle from your last few weeks of active pills. Stay on course with the dates on the pack to make sure you're keeping your hormones at a healthy level :)

I'd probably just stay the course with the pills for the entire pack- so I wouldn't rush the placebo week.
